A categorized path towards manifesting what you love to do
Imagine a person so into drugs that it is almost impossible to get them out of addiction. If you walk up to such a person and tell them “meditation would bring you more bliss than drugs ever did”, do you think they would even be looking at you while you were talking?
I have dabbled briefly into weed and hash and it was enough for me to know that going down that path would either make me hooked to it (not using the word ‘addicted’ as I dont know if marijuana is addictive) or would make me explore and dabble into different drugs that really are addictive!
I also have read, heard and watched enough about meditation to know that practicing meditation and making it a habit would reap great rewards in the long run. Meditation releases the bliss chemical in your brain that is more effective than any drug and the good thing is there are no withdrawal symptoms to it. It does not harm your body either. In fact, meditation would improve functioning of your brain and would help you relieve stress. This is a firsthand experience.
Now just think of drugs as the “cheap thrills” or the “instant gratifications” of our time. Things like Netflix and chill, or readily available small doses or bursts of happiness either from social media or small treats that you buy yourself because of the apt marketing that many companies in today’s economy strive…
