An eye for an eye should make the whole world blind!

A mosque, so enthralling in its beauty. Even in the dark it rejuvenates your soul with energy. See the marvellous creation with a starry night in its backdrop? I can’t help but think that is it really the stars and moonlight that gives out this shine or is it the smoke from destruction that has blocked out the daylight. Let me tell you the reason behind this uncanny thought of mine.

The community to whom this marvellous monument belongs, faces discrimination because of people who wrongly preach their own version of dogma. It is true that the community faces the consequences as a result of chaos that is created by the people who follow the same faith but have a false understanding of it.

And this is just to name one of those caste or race or whatever you name it. So many are facing the similar horrors based on how they look or what they believe in.

Then comes this appalling divide which humans term “border” that keeps us apart based on culture, beliefs and to some extent goals. Why not just let it blend amongst themselves?

Sometimes i wish i were a bird… i could fly away wherever my heart took me and enjoy every corner of this beautiful blue spot that lies on an unending dark blanket.

Maybe someone did find us in this dark oblivion but decided to stay away after witnessing what “intelligent life” creates.

If only we all were blind and we could not see what colour the other person is or what they wear or how they look. Maybe then we could feel the beautiful souls that exist in this vehicle that we term “body” because i believe the body is just a vehicle and what matters is who is driving it.

If only we all were blind then maybe we could see clearly without seeing at all. If only an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, maybe then we would realise how wrong we were.
